You may have noticed, along with cleaning up my sidebar (there are some new things coming there!) I now have a banner for The Birth Survey at the bottom of the page. It's not a paid advertisement, just something I want to publicize. The Birth Survey is collecting information about birth experiences with different care providers and at different locations (home, birth centers and hospitals) so women can make more informed choices about where and with whom to have their babies. I think this is such a valuable tool, so please, use it!
There's also a Lamaze Webinar on September 15 about the survey and how it helps increase transparency in maternity care--always a good thing. And there's CEUs to be had!
